I have been going to Angela’s pilates classes for some years now. At my age ( I am now 81) I need exercise that helps my balance and keeps me flexible and strong. Angela’s classes are friendly, despite the range in ages, and she is always able to adapt to the differing needs of people present.  She makes sure that we are moving correctly and gives us plenty of variety so the classes are never boring.   So I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Reformer Therapy review

I started one-to-one rehabilitation pilates with Angela because of painful medical
issues affecting my left arm and shoulder due to pacemaker implant, breast cancer
surgery/radiotherapy and arthritis in both knees.

I was prescribed strong painkillers and wore knee supports for walking. Medication
did not relieve the pain.

I turned to an individually designed programme of Pilates Reformer Therapy….. it soon brought benefits and with Angela’s encouragement I quickly gained confidence and this brought about a change in my ability to take up and enjoy my physical activities.

I no longer wear knee supports and have not used medication for months.

I am experiencing pain free exercise and this has made me stronger in my resolve to continue to further extend my physical fitness and enhance my mental well being.

I’ve been attending Pilates class with Angela for a year now and I love it. I’ve never been to an exercise class before and I was really nervous about it. I felt put at ease straight away, the class was a mix of all different abilities, ages and shapes. I genuinely look forward to going every week, and I feel much stronger for it. My balance and overall fitness has also improved!

Wanted to give you a quick update on how your classes have helped me, and continue to do so. It can be difficult to do so at the end of class, hence the email. I started your courses with a bad back, then had arthritis in left shoulder and into the mix was a dodgy right hip…..slowly falling apart. However, with your classes and exercise guidance I have hopefully pushed all three back a little.As well as your classes I do the following 2-3 times a week:1. Roll Downs and repeated Planks 3-4 a week – I am sure this has helped my left shoulder and I have not needed an injection for 6 months – increased blood supply! 2. Abs exercises to keep my core and support my back – no issues for a while. I know what to do if there are. 3. I have now added into the routine the leg rotations and parallel leg work for my hips. Increasing blood supply again. 🙂 Of course I throw other stuff in too, when I have time. Anyway, thanks again its been a brilliant help

love Angela’s Pilates classes. They provide an opportunity to rest from the daily chaos of life while exercising my body, resting my mind and increasing my overall well being. Since attending my body is more toned and I am more flexible. The class is friendly, tailored to individual abilities and is for all ages, shapes and sizes. Angela is very clear in her demonstration and knows how to get the most from each session – she is always approachable to discuss any concerns or questions and supports you through the class with encouragement and praise.

I have been with you from the start and have found the classes friendly, fun and most importantly beneficial. I find local weekly classes a lot more pleasant than the rather impersonal atmosphere of a health club.
